Dear Sir,
I have read the announcement about the vacancies that your company is offering, and I would
like to submit my application.
I am a graduate with a doctor's degree from Pennsylvania State University in the United States. I am determined to make a lasting contribution to my country, which is the reason why I am back. I am a twenty-eight-year-old girl. My major is chemistry and through years of hard work,I have achieved notable results. At school, I was always the top student of my class. My favorite sport is swimming, and music is the second. I often play the plano in my spare time.
If you require further information, I shall be happy to provide it. I will welcome the opportunity to have a personal interview.

Sakura Scholarships offer students the opportunity of taking part in a three-month Japan

ese language course in the city of Kyoto. The scholarship covers free accommodation，meals and tuition. Return air fares between their country of residence and Osaka are paid，and $l，000 pocket money is also provided.

To apply for one of these Scholarships，you should write a letter of about 300 words, describing your own educational career so far，and giving reasons education would benefit from participation in the Sakura Scholarship Scheme.

The closing date for application is February l，2009.Applicants who have been selected for the short list(人选名单)will receive the notice by March 31. The final selection will be made on the basis of interviews held during May.

Applications are open to all students，regardless of age, sex or nationality，and are also open to people who are not currently full-time students.
